Opinions That Matter

Bryce J. Casavant
Hello!
Welcome to The Review - a newsletter for opinions that matter. My name is Bryce, I am a veteran investigator and persuasive writer. I lecture in legal and environmental affairs at Royal Roads University, Canada. I have started this newsletter to inspire and inform people. I write articles that cover policing, the environment, and natural history. With over ten years of media experience, I specialize in analysis and long form columns. My work has been featured in the Vancouver Sun, the Times Colonist, The Tyee, Daily Hive, The Conversation, and a host of syndicated and local outlets. I write at the intersection of environment, law, business, and broad social tensions.

My personal story, opinions, and environmental investigations have been covered widely in Canada and overseas, including in the Guardian, London Times World Politics, UNILAD, Tri-City News, the Toronto Star, CBC, and the front page of the Globe and Mail.
What do I do?
I “bring it” from initial content ideation through to drafting and publication. I am known for correcting those in positions of state authority while being fair and balanced. I hope you enjoy. Please subscribe if you can!
